Ignorance

Why do we continuously seek the truth? Because the truth in the world we live in is hidden from us. Where do we come from? What are we doing here? Where are we going when we leave?

The Seeker

Being in this situation causes us to wonder why, fueling our curiosity and our need to seek answers. This is by design. We are supposed to pursue the reason for our existence; it is our purpose to discover who and what we truly are. 

Why have we been placed in this type of situation? We are ignorant of the true rules of the game. How can we possibly play it?

The Journey to uncover the truth.

Not knowing how or why we are here is enough to cause us to try to find out. Pursuing this knowledge is a crucial component of our spiritual growth.

Through trial and error, we discover tiny morsels of truths that spark contemplation and lead to reflection that ends in the realization of the truth, bringing us closer to our answers.

But before we got a good start at solving this mystery, the church short-stopped us and changed the direction of our pursuit, sending us to look outside ourselves instead of within.

Religions graciously offered to lend a hand by placing themselves between us and the answer: God.

For centuries, the church preached the word of their gospels, convincing the world that their way was the way of the lord.

The Diversion

Religions claim to explain our relationship to the source. They say God is available to us through them and only them. The church claims to be God’s earthly representative.

It appears that religion is a necessary component of reaching Christ consciousness, but is that true?

The Propaganda

Religions claim to know how we can find the answers to the questions that plague us. Those answers that pave the way to Christ-consciousness.

The Church bombards us with creative dogma and rushes us to buildings called the “house of God,” claiming the practice of listening to the many interpretations of the Bible is the way.

The “Holy Book” is the sole reference for spiritual growth. It was compiled in ancient times by human beings who were said to be inspired by God.

The Physical

We are taught that God is in a spiritual place called heaven, which is above, and we are separate from Him below, far below, on the physical.

The only way to connect is through the holy mother, the church.

Not knowing that the physical world is designed to trap the soul, we readily give in to its seduction and to the manipulations of the physical church.

The church relies on the physical representation of Jesus in the Holy Communion. This is a crucial practice to connect the soul to the physical.

The Spiritual

Though there are many religions, they all say the same thing. We all have a part of the divine within us, a divine spark, and our purpose is to ignite it.

Now, you would think the sole purpose of a religious organization would be to guide us to the activation of that spark, leading to Christ-consciousness. Yet, religions teach that God and we are separate, and to connect with the source, we must depend on organized religion.

Research has shown that connecting with the source, religion, is not really necessary. The truth is that the source is, in fact, within us. “The Kingdom of Heaven is within.” This brings us to the central conflict between the church and Gnosticism.

Making Money

Religions have maneuvered themselves between God and us, claiming to be God’s representative on earth; they, and only they, are the way to Christ-consciousness. To allow them to show us the way, we must support them by offering them money.

This reminds me of a popular quote by Jesus, ”It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

It has always been about the money: the church first told the Cathars (Gnostics) to join them and pay their taxes to the church, but the Cathars refused, letting the church know that they did not need a church to worship and that they preached on hillsides like Jesus.

For their refusal, the Cathars, who were devout Christians by the critics’ own admission, were exterminated in the most vicious ways by the holy mother, the church.

Gnostic Beliefs

The Gnostics believed the church was corrupted by the devil, and its teachings led people away from the one true God and trapped souls in the physical world.

This is important because the Gnostics believe the physical world was created by the devil, the Demiurge, and the one true spiritual God created the spiritual world where all spirits come from and wish to return.

The Gnostics also believed that the secret to igniting the divine spark was hidden inside each individual. Through the correct behavior, diet, and meditation, one could realize sacred knowledge called gnosis and incorporate this secret knowledge to achieve Christ-consciousness.

With this newfound knowledge, one can move forward, igniting the spark, filling the body with light, and becoming one with the spiritual God while living on the physical, imbued with Christ-consciousness.

False Prophets

As far as I know, no religion has created a Christ, which is supposed to be their purpose. From what I see, religions fall short of their purpose: to lead us to our divinity, which can be detected both physically and spiritually. I haven’t seen it. Have you?

How many enlightened beings have the churches actually produced? They have been around for ages and have not produced one enlightened being. If they were doing what they claim, we would all be Christ. Every religion admits the divine spark exists within us; why haven’t they instructed us on how to ignite it?

Time of Enlightenment

Jesus’ Teachings taught that humans have the ability to become a Christ. However, religion has hidden the methods and practices that lead to Christ-consciousness, preventing the masses from a spiritual awakening.

The Church teaches that Jesus was sent to earth by God to die for our sins. In Gnosticism, Jesus came as an example of what we are all capable of being and to teach the knowledge that leads to Christ-consciousness.

Jesus said: “He who drinks from my mouth will become like me, and I will become like him (equals), and the hidden things will be revealed to him.”

These words are found in the Gospel of Thomas, which was obviously omitted from the Bible. Jesus is speaking about teaching the knowledge that leads to Christ-consciousness.

“He who drinks from my mouth will become like me.”

No wonder the Gnostics, the Essenes, and the Cathars were so vigorously hated by the religious establishment, causing those

true believers who were left after the crusades to flee and hide, burying their gospels, which were later found in 1945.

The Gnostic Gospels, the Nag Hammadi Library, and the Dead Sea Scrolls, buried in the desert sands, tell a different story of Christ and expose Christianity's grand deception.

“For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.”

Luke 8:17

Protecting the lie

Over the centuries, those who knew and practiced the hidden methods of achieving enlightenment were exterminated. Religion could not allow the masses to find out that they, organized religion, were not necessary to reach Christ-consciousness. So, religion worked to prevent us from uncovering the truth about how to ignite our divinity.

The Essenes and Cathars practiced the methods that led to Christ consciousness. Jesus's lost years are left out of the Bible because he studied Hinduism and Buddhism in the East, the birthplace of yoga.

Was Jesus a yogi? Are yogic practices necessary to ignite the divine spark? Eastern religions believe so. In their pursuit of perfecting the Self, the Gnostics adopted yogic practices, vegetarianism, proper conduct, equality, compassion, and meditation, all of which are elements of yoga.

We must research and sift through mountains of information to determine the truth. When given one source to consider and immediately accepting it as truth when other sources are available, is negligent.

Religion says Jesus came to earth to die for our sins. Hmm. But what if we never committed a sin? The church says we are born with original sin. They covered all their bases.

Looking into Jesus's life, we find that he himself said that once we absorb his teachings, we become equal to him. Interesting. We can become equal to Christ simply by applying his teachings. But what are His teachings? We don’t know because the teachings given to the chosen few are kept secret by the church.

Yes, the church hoards the true knowledge deep within the Vatican's bowels. Yes, in the Golden Palace in Rome, the Pope sits upon the hidden secrets of our divinity. Secret knowledge. Gnosis.

Do we need the church to reveal the secret knowledge? No. The knowledge is within ourselves. Christ said, “Know thyself,” and “Be still and know that I am God.”

Through the practice of yoga, one can reach Christ-consciousness.
